Erica keeps the whole clinic moving without making it feel like a clinic machine. From scheduling to questions to the tiny details patients never see, she helps make the visit feel calm before you even sit in the chair.

What do you help patients feel more comfortable with?

I’m usually the first person patients see when they walk into the clinic, so I greet them with a smile and quick chat about anything non dental to put them more at ease.

What's one small thing you do to make someone's appointment feel easier?

I’ve worked in the dental field for 29 years, so I try to make appointments easier at the front desk by answering any questions they have about their insurance benefits, as often dental plans can be confusing.

What's your oddly specific "green flag" outside of work?

I’m a very good listener and tend to be the one other people turn to when they have a problem.

What's a tiny hill you'll happily die on?

Treat people the way you want to be treated. A little kindness goes a long way.
